My stay at Hilton Glasgow was a mix of highs and lows. While I appreciated the excellent views and the attentiveness of some staff members, I faced significant frustrations with the room layout and key access system. Despite some positive dining experiences, the overall service felt disjointed and impersonal, which made for a disappointing experience given the high price point. 😕

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was clean, but the layout and access issues caused major headaches. My father-in-law's room was three floors above us, and the floor-specific key cards were a disaster, making it difficult to reach him when we needed to. This setup could definitely be improved to enhance guest comfort.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly and helpful, I found the service very inconsistent. At times, it felt like staff were too preoccupied to offer proper assistance. The manager I spoke to seemed more focused on defending the hotel's security system rather than addressing our concerns, which was frustrating.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is quite convenient for accessing various attractions and shopping in Glasgow. However, navigating foot traffic around the area can be challenging due to its layout between highways and office buildings.
Dining
7.0
The quality of the food in the restaurant was quite good, and the service during dinner was really good. The attentive waiter really turned our meal into a highlight of our stay, although I did find breakfast had long queues and could use some organization.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had decent amenities, but I felt there could have been more offered to enhance the overall experience. The fitness facilities were accessible, and I appreciated the clean and maintained common areas, but the check-in experience was lacking.

I had an enjoyable stay at the Hilton Glasgow, thanks to its comfortable room and fantastic breakfast. My check-in experience was warm and friendly, setting a positive tone right away. However, I did face some frustration with the breakfast service, as it felt a bit disorganized and I ended up waiting too long for coffee and toast. Despite that hiccup, I'd definitely stay here again.

Rooms
9.0
My room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bed. I appreciated the thoughtful details like a Nespresso machine and the ample marble in the bathroom, which made it feel luxurious. The sound insulation worked really well despite being near the busy motorway, allowing me to sleep peacefully.
Service
7.0
Most of the staff I encountered were friendly and went out of their way to help. However, I did experience some frustrations during breakfast where the staff seemed overwhelmed and it took a while for basic items to be served.
Location
8.0
The hotel is positioned perfectly for exploring the city, with just a short walk to the center. It’s also super accessible via the M8, which is a major plus for travelers with a car. I did notice the immediate surroundings were a bit run-down, but the central location outweighed that issue.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast was definitely a highlight with a wide selection and a chef making omelets. Unfortunately, the service during breakfast on my visit felt chaotic. I had to wait too long for my coffee and toast, which kind of put a damper on the experience.
Facilities
8.0
The fitness center and pool were nice amenities to start my day off right. I liked that the pool added an extra layer of relaxation, though I felt that information about these facilities could have been clearer in the hotel app.

I had a mix of experiences during my stay at Hilton Glasgow. The high-quality service from the staff stood out, and I loved the spacious room with a great view over the city. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast selection and the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. Overall, it's a solid hotel, but there are some aspects that need improvement.

Rooms

My room was spacious and offered lovely views, but it could have used a deep clean as I noticed some dust and maintenance issues. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring good sleep quality.
Service
9.0
The service was commendable across the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in quick and efficient, which set a positive tone for my stay.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to shopping and dining areas, though the immediate surroundings felt a bit shabby and less safe at night.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had plenty of choices, but I found the quality lacking. There were notable omissions like granary bread and some dishes didn’t meet expectations in terms of taste.
Facilities
6.0
While there were great amenities like a gym, access to the pool came with an extra cost, which I found a bit off-putting given the overall hotel experience.
